The Brickers Foundation | Nonprofit Media, Stories & Donation Website
The Brickers Foundation shines a light on nonprofits and community leaders who are making their cities better. Through impact stories, nonprofit highlights, a podcast, and events, it helps good work get seen and supported. The website had to do a lot at once: publish editorial content, introduce new organizations, and make it easy for visitors to give. We designed a clean, modern nonprofit website where stories take center stage, the navigation stays simple, and the “Support Our Cause” button is always within reach.
USED TECHNIQUES

Story-First Editorial Design
We built the layout around the foundation’s content. A bold “Amplifying Impact” opening, a featured cover story, and organized story sections let visitors start reading right away. The design is warm and professional, so it feels trustworthy without losing its human side.

Simple Content Organization
Impact Stories, Non-Profit Highlights, Events, Podcast, and Initiatives each have their own clear section in the menu. Visitors can browse by topic and find what they want in a click or two, while the team can keep adding new articles without breaking the structure.
MAIN GOALS
- Put Nonprofit Stories in the Spotlight
The foundation’s mission is to give nonprofits more visibility, so the website needed to be a great place to read. We gave the featured story a large, eye-catching spot and added story cards that make it easy to move from one article to the next. - Make Giving Easy
A donation button sits in the main navigation, so supporters never have to search for a way to help. It links to a secure donation page, and the merch store gives people another way to back the cause. - Build Credibility and Community
We added a podcast page, a press release section, event listings, and social media links to show the foundation is active and connected. A monthly newsletter signup keeps readers coming back and helps the audience grow over time.
DESCRIPTION
The main challenge was balancing two jobs on one website. The Brickers Foundation is a publisher, with stories, interviews, and spotlights that need room to breathe. It is also a nonprofit that relies on donations and community support. The site had to serve both without feeling cluttered.
We started by deciding what a first-time visitor should see: a clear message, a strong featured story, and a path to learn more. From there, we organized the rest of the content so it stays easy to browse, from impact stories and nonprofit highlights to the podcast and upcoming events.
The site works well on phones, tablets, and desktops, since many readers find nonprofit stories through social media. Because it’s built on Framer, the team can publish new stories and update pages on their own, without needing a developer each time.
The result is a polished home for the foundation’s work. It helps nonprofits get noticed, gives readers a reason to stay, and makes it simple for supporters to take the next step.
